Repeated gel applications, improper removal, and daily stress can damage your natural nails. At Yu Académie et Salon, we use ParaGel to minimize stress on your nails and support them to become strong and healthy.

We will assess your natulis in 6 key areas.

  • Thickness — is the nail thickness adequate?
  • Color — is the nail color healthy pink?
  • Hardness — is the nail firm and strong?
  • Splitting — are there any signs of splitting or peeling?
  • Lifting — does the gel lift easily?
  • Breakage — does the nail break or chip easily?

Home care points

  • Moisturize — use cuticle oil and hand cream daily to keep nails and skin hydrated.
  • Be gentle — avoid picking, peeling or using your nails as tools.
  • Good habits — drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet for beautiful nails from within.
  • Regular care — visit regularly every 4–5 weeks to maintain healthy nail condition.
Will my nails be filed?

No. ParaGel does not require any filing of your natural nail.

Will my nails be healthy in 3 visits?

Results vary. 3 visits are an estimate to aim for improvement. The number of visits may vary depending on the level of damage and lifestyle.

How is gel removed?

We gently remove the gel using a special remover. We do not peel or force it off.

Do I need home care?
